About the lounge
Privacy Policy
How Card Lounge handles data: saved rounds, statistics and settings stay in your browser's local storage, plus notes on hosting and advertising.
This page explains what data Card Lounge uses and where it is kept.
Who runs Card Lounge
Card Lounge is hosted at gamecardlounges.com on Cloudflare Pages. Questions about this page or your data can be sent to [email protected], the address on the contact page.
What is stored in your browser
Card Lounge saves your progress in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This holds:
- your saved rounds, so an unfinished game resumes when you return;
- the statistics for each game mode, such as rounds played and won, best times and fewest moves;
- your settings.
This data stays in the browser on your device. It is not linked to an account: Card Lounge has no accounts, sign-in or registration, so it never asks for your name, email address or password.
Hosting and technical request data
Card Lounge is a static website served by Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, delivering pages means Cloudflare processes standard technical request data, such as your IP address and browser details, in order to send the pages to your device and protect the website. Cloudflare describes this in its privacy policy.
Advertising
Card Lounge shows ads through the Adsterra advertising network: banners on the pages, a Social Bar, and at most one popunder per browser in 24 hours, opened only after you have clicked somewhere on the site. The ad scripts load from Adsterra's servers, which receive standard request data such as your IP address and browser details. Adsterra may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy. Card Lounge keeps a small note in your browser's local storage to count the daily popunder limit.
Clearing your saved data
To remove everything Card Lounge has stored, clear the site data for Card Lounge in your browser's settings. The option is usually found in the privacy, cookies or site settings section. Clearing it deletes your saved rounds, statistics and settings, and they cannot be recovered afterwards.
Using a different browser, a different device or a private window gives you a separate, empty store, because local storage is kept per browser.
Changes to this page
This page may be updated as the site develops, for example when the advertising formats change.
