Terms of Use

These terms explain the basis on which you can play on Card Lounge. They are kept short and plain.

Free entertainment

Card Lounge is a free card games website, provided for entertainment. There are no accounts, nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.

No real-money gambling

Card Lounge does not offer real-money gambling of any kind. Blackjack is played with play chips only. You start with 1,000 chips and can reset them to 1,000 between hands with "Reset chips". Play chips have no value: they cannot be bought, and they cannot be exchanged for money, prizes or anything else. No game on the site offers prizes.

The rules of the games

The rules shown on the site apply to every game. Each deal is shuffled by the game, and a round ends as won, lost or abandoned as described in How to play. The Compare the games page summarises how each mode is won or lost.

Your saved progress

Rounds in progress, statistics and settings are saved only in your own browser. They may be lost if your browser data is cleared, and they do not carry over to another browser or device. Because there are no accounts, lost progress cannot be restored.

Changes to the site

Games, guides, articles, artwork and these terms may change at any time as the site develops. Content may be added, updated or removed without notice.

Privacy and contact

The privacy page explains what is stored in your browser and what technical data is processed when pages are delivered. Questions can be sent to [email protected], the address on the contact page.
